Triple Crown of Kayak Fishing 2023 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

This is the second year for this unique offshore kayak fishing Tournament. This year the event is broken into 3 tournaments. One off SE Florida for the month of May 2023. One in NE Florida for the month of July. The final tournament is in Corpus Christi, Texas for the month of August. There is also a trophy for the best catch between all 3 tournaments. This format allows anglers to pick any two days to go fishing during the month of the tournament. The angler registers at one of the weigh stations the day before fishing and receives a token to be shown with photos of the catch. The catch is later weighed in at the weigh station.

It's an interesting concept, that definitely relies on the personal integrity of the participants to make it work. It's not too late to sign up for any of the tournaments. There is also a calcutta to buy in for heaviest fish.

May is normally the fishiest month for SE Florida, so it will be interesting to see what hits the scales.
