Night ops

Any of you night time regulars got any advice for a normally daytime angler. Gonna dangle some bait tonight.

And bring extra layers and extra underwears... You would be surprised how often you need to change them 😊

Good luck

Roll up your sleeves before you reach in your bait tank. You will not dry off out there.

Don't jump when a large bait ball clears the water next to you as something big swims by.

Oh, and keep repeating my mantra... all fins are dolphins

at night essentials:

-Head lamp
-flash light
-beanie
- xtra batteries

Along with the normal day time stuff
- PFD
- radio
- fishing crap
- etc.

My experience... keep the lights off... for me, it messes up my eye's natural night vision. Bring extra pre-tied rigs/set ups. Strap everything (paddle too) cause hard to see if you lose stuff in the dark.

Good luck and enjoy the at night adventure.

Yep.

What's really cool if there is a red tide or bio-luminescent things in the water, when fish swim from under you kayak, you see color trails. Wow, man.

Use a headlamp with a red light/cover at night for your light source.
