wondered where you were going with your post. nice man. makes my new chirp 5 look like a baby. will be picking up my 50/200 from wm on friday hoping for a black friday discount. will be sure to get the extended warranty.

I asked the Long Beach store about there Black Friday discounts, the rep said they weren't expecting much to be on sale. The HDS7 was $100 off and the 50/200 transducer was selling at the regular price of $89.99.

Man, that price seems way low. Think it is more like $170. The one I am getting is an HDI Skimmer with down scan capabilites. Plan on picking it up at oceanside westmarine. I assume pricing will be the same at any westmarine stores.
