If you need to talk to anyone from OEX, feel free to call the shop. Pt. Loma is open 9-5 daily
619-758-9531 Not too sure about the RV rigging, it sounds like you will have to improvise/adapt for your specific rig. Theres plenty of OEX staff/ X-13 owners on this site to ask questions about the X-13. Also, you can PM me if you would like help with any questions at all. Tommy tommy@oexcalifornia.com

I have a 32 foot Southwind class A...
in a pinch I can stick the yak inside if need be...I I have often thought about rigging the motorhome with some sort of yak rack, but I really like having an extra vehicle whenever I go somewhere... if you have a tow vehicle, put it on there... if no tow vehicle...like me...do what I do... I just have the wife drive my truck with the yaks and fishing gear in it... that way...I can cruise around from lake to lake... drive into Mammoth, etc... it is nice to have the extra vehicle whilst camping... same goes for beach camping...you can camp at one spot and fish at several others with an extra vehicle to cruise around... |

Why not mount a couple of J-racks on the side of your motor home. Most kayaks will be to long to mount sideways across the back.
I do not know the rules about how wide a vehicle can be and maybe your RV is already at the limit. If you can get away with the extra foot or so, figure out a way to mount these racks so they can be removed when not in use. Slap your yak in the rack and your should be good to go. Bob |

Last summer on the east coast I saw an RV towing four yaks in enclosed kayak trailer. It was a sweet setup with lots of extra storage for seats, paddles, PFD's and fishing gear.
