LJ LAUNCH CONDITIONS

Hey fellow kayak anglers, I'm about to make my first trip to LJ. The forecast for sat is about 2.5' @ 4.5 seconds. Doesn't seem like much but the interval has me questioning the launch (I'm a bit timid about the thought of my first surf launch). I have plenty of experience out on the water, but have always launched from a ramp. TIA for your feedback!

If you want enjoyable sea surface, and want to minimize your yard sale potential wait for an avg wave interval at least 6s or more and surf no more than 2.0 ft.
