Put your sonar in 1-2X zoom to greatly enhance the bottom. Light peppering will mark on the bottom. Larger schools will of course get a better return, but that isnt ideal..fine tune HDS sensitivity & colorline & get true hard bottom separation..

Don't have screenshots of RF, but they look like clusters of stuff on the bottom, and then when its like a thicker line on the bottom those are most likely sanddabs.
