Looking to buy VHF and FF
Still assembling everything to get out and spend some time on the water. I need a VHF Radio and a very basic Fish Finder... If anyone has some extra older stuff sitting around I could really use a good deal, 300 for a new VHF is just out of my price range right now. Other odds and ends I am looking for: (These I will buy new if I must) Yak net, Yak gaff, Signal light, Bildge pump, Water proof gear, Waders and boots. Tight lines, Aaron |

Aaron,
I have this basic setup. Works fine but you will need battery setup. http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ad.php?t=11956

IMO, I would get a VHF before waders,
but it sounds like you are on your way to be full on addicted which is a good thing, stay safe, the fish will come...

There are tons if vhf radios for sale that start under 200$ new. In fact the best radio on the market imo is the icom 72... It sells for about 200. But if you just want a cheap reliable radio go to west marine. They sell a radio that will work great, is waterproof, and will come with the best warranty around and it is under $100 new...
Imo you should buy a new radio. New radios come with a NEW baterry. the battery is the first thing to go usually....
