01/10/16 La Jolla

Took my kayak to La Jolla for the first time.

Wasn't sure what I was going to get into with all the surf reports, the launch being wrecked and basically not knowing shit about launching there. I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kind of guy so I went for it.

There was a guy (Summers in Kuwait) there around 4:30'ish a.m. looking around at the logistics wondering the same thing I was. We teamed up to haul each other's kayaks off the wall. He got the short end, his Revo and my PA.

Anyway, got out and had our fish by about 8:30 a.m. We made another drift or two and headed in. In our cars and driving away by noon after jumping my battery and taking our time. Summers in Kuwait is a good dude and good to fish with A+ in my book.......

Not a bad LJ first day.

Awesome day! What was the bait of choice?

How was the actual surf. Webcam launch looked like 1-2 when I checked.
