5-12 Tidelands

Went out to Tidelands early in the AM got hooked into a heavy one early on, it spit the hook. Fished the bay for catching Spotties off and on all day. Drifted south of the bridge onto the flat, switched to a clear jerkbait with a chart tail. First cast on the flat I hooked up to a new PB a 34" 16.8lb Halibut, what a fat fish.

I love that place.... Tidelands is the shit. I was gonna hit it on Friday, but decided to fish the bay over in front of seaport village. I'll be hitting tidelands next Friday and give it a shot for some flatties.... I picked up some jerkbaits this weekend, as a matter of fact.

Congrats on the PB hali....

Nice going. It's always a good thing on your PB, and makes for the next one to be hopefully bigger. Congrats!
