Non-Kayak DVL report
The day started off with us heading towards the south side to partly cloudy sky's and cool temps (not the water as it was in the 70's). After 15 to 20 minutes on the water, my friend Don caught the first bass of the day (a 1 lb'er). I hooked mine next (my first ever LMB and only keeper of the day at just under 3 lbs). Don caught the next several bass and then it was a mix for both of us throughout the rest of the day. We fished many different spots on that lake which was rather nice to hit a few areas as one place would drop down on the bite and another would be on. Don hit three keepers through the day and around a dozen smaller ones, but mine was still the big one of the day. I figured that I caught around 10 bass for the day with the one keeper. Not a bad day on the water. |
