juns subs...
Then there came the halibut. I think I have put in over 50 hours in the last 2 months trying to get one on my line. I caught rock fish and a cabezon this month. Bottom fishing can be fun, just add beer and good company. I did lose one good size one, due to my error, my drag being so lose I just watched my fish run into kelp never to be seen. So maybe I am saving my slam for july. My yellowtail was 23lbs caught on squid. I caught a bigger one the following morning and it was released I couldnt kill it for a measley few points when I allready had fresh fish in the fridge. I think reading winter fishing by the darkhorse was inspirational. my wsb was 40lbs caught on squid. I was stoked because my friend steve caught one as well. |
