HAHAHAHAHAHA this was the tupac of Yellows he had spectra, a swivel and a fluoro leader coming out of his asshole..... no joke...... the tail was either a prop, seal, or god knows what... We weighed the fish on two different scales... massive head and shoulders MASSIVE but the lower torso was skinny, MOTOR WAS POWERFUL, but fish looked all spawned out.....Biggest fork I have added it to the collection......
Its all good I like this trend of monthly upgrades, I may never catch another fish or I may catch a 53lber next month, thats why I keep going fishing... Yani quit looking at my mom |

hahaha look at the picture of how it was measured... it was measured with the mouth WIDE open. That can add a few extra inches! There are many ways to measure a fish, but most length to weight comparisons are based off fork length.... and fork length is usually measured by holding the mouth closed and measureing from the mouth to the fork in the tail with a caliper (not a measureing tape). The use of a measuring tape actually adds a few inches to the length as well. When you use a measureing tape you're actually getting what is called a "curved fork" length. Of course there are regression equations that can be used to back calculate the actual "fork" length....
Either way it was a big homeguard yellow! You earned that one Ryan! Now go get another one!
