From sportboat to kayak. Thanks 4 the great responses!

I'm working on a magazine story and looking for help.

Is there anyone here who went from regular sportboat passenger to kayak angler? If so, I'd enjoy talking with you. Please either PM me, or post here and I'll PM or email you back.

Thanks,

Paul Lebowitz

Thanks to the many who responded to tell their stories. There are quite a few here who've made the transition from sportboat passenger (or deckie) to kayak angler. Most everyone listed cost as a motivation, but more than that, freedom to fish when and where we want is the advantage most cited.
