Cabrillo 1/17/2016

Launched just before 6am and headed straight to the lighthouse, once there I zigged and I zagged for about an hour outside and couldn't find one single school of bait. Decided to head back in and continued to zig and zag from the lighthouse all the way to the prison for nada. About 4hrs later I finally get a croaker to bite the sabiki so I pin it on as bait, as soon as it hit bottom I'm on. I continued trying to make bait for the next two hours so I zigged and I zagged some more but there was noting to be found. As soon as the wind laid down I decided to start heading in, it was blowing 10+ by the time I got to the launch.

Anyway,

6hrs on the water
one bait made
one pack of Belvita crackers and a small 7-Eleven coffee for breakfast
one apple a banana for a lunch snack
one butt and the usual garbage
would I do it all over again? you bet cha

Surf was definitely up today

Whoever did this forgot to leave a note with their information

Nice BUTT Jorge. I see the banana didn't affect your fishing day. I never did believe that bananas would hurt your chances of catching fish. Tight Lines, Mark

Since Banana's are one of my favorite foods I am happy to see you just blew up the myth. I have never been brave enough to take one with me but now I will.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Jorge, we are starting to rub off on Tony, he has actually been picking up a little trash without the normal slap to the head. When in Rome, feed them Croaker!
