I haven't been on a 6'6" since I was a kid.

The Kies looks pretty fun. If I'd come across it a month or two ago... however, I picked up a 7'3 South Coast Swegg recently and then a 9'2 Rusty. Pretty much time to start divesting more money to yakking and fishing and not so much surfing...

Unfortunately, my back won't let me surf anymore. I stopped surfing for a while, and my back stopped going out. I've gained 40lbs yet my back is better than when I was surfing. I just can't afford to be out of work for a week + at a time, multiple times a year.

I have the same problem with my back. About one year ago I started stand up paddle surfing and I love it. Very easy on the back. You should give it a try.
