In the fog and moving slowly always trust your compass. If you are sitting still your compass will always tell you what direction you are pointing while your GPS has no clue.

Absolutely right about the compass, when I wasn't moving at least 1/2 MPH the GPS chart would spin almost like a top. My ears were also telling me I should be past the Cove because the Sealions barking was behind me instead of in front.
