Bass Fishing...

Bass, yes Bass…a species that we chase in Salt and Fresh and now a place to discuss both. BWE has long been the standard place for our Kayak Anglers to go for anything and everything saltwater related. We are now opening it up to freshwater as well. We have several people already fishing fresh and many more out there looking for a place to discuss it as well.
Stay tuned as we look to bring more events crossing both areas, tournaments included!

Richard, looking forward to seeing where this faction goes and grows. When I first moved to CA from Minnesota, all I fished were LMB, I kept my own supply of locally creek caught crawdads in a cement trough in my garage .

Andy, looking forward to it as well. Ahhhh, the days of the crawdads!!! Love fishing with those for sure. I am looking forward to getting out on more salt action as well. Seems I have much to learn and am ready for the challenge.

This sounds great. We have a large group of fisherman in the area that have not had the place to discuss bass fishing for quite some time. This is it. Along with bass fishing discussions and topics I will be working with Outlawangler to bring the Socal community kayak bass fishing events and tournaments. We will keep you updated as these plans develop. We will have some information available at this weekends Heroes on the Water event. It will be good to see familiar faces and we hope to get a lot of new ones mixed in. This will be a fun journey for the SoCal bass scene. See you on the board and the water! Tight Lines

I don't fish for bass (fresh or salt) but I think this will be a great addition to BWE. I know there are many guys on here that will chime in to the new forum.

Thumbs up

I've fished many years. Since I've been a kid going to the loco ponds and park lakes. Never really could catch anything except blue gills and some catfish. For many years I just stop fishing started a family and forgot all it. Had to pay bills worry about where my next ck would come from. Self employed. But then one day we'll I was home a fishing show came on. Some guy catching LMB and having so much fun. Man that flipped the switch and the new day I was looking for old gear. Researching everything I could to get ready to start fishing again. So tell this day I still haven't got that LMB. It's kinda of art. But I look forward to any information I could learn from as now fishing is a big part of my life and health. Best way to get out and have fun with friends and family. Took my son fishing and he got his first yellowtail and now he's hooked. So I'll take any tips I could use and pass down to the younger generation.
