Kayak Insurance

So after reading an article on kayak insurance I emailed a buddy who is in the business for a quote. He quoted me $75/year with $500 deductible for a hobie pro angler 12 ($3000 new) plus $2000 in equipment. Equipment includes expensive sunglasses and coverage includes the kayak getting stolen from the truck or on the beach or lost equipment during a wipe out. For $86/year deductible drops to $250. I intend to buy the $86/year policy before my next beach launch

BTW I do not currently have a policy with start farms; if I expect a multiple policy discount.
