PA Belly Flop

I installed a bait tank and an "H"-Bar on the PA-12 the other day.

Stood for a pee and over I went (me, not the Yak). I heard the H-bar adds abnornal leverage and promotes tipping. I think I agree.

I really like to stand up and fish.

Should I:

a) lose the H-bar or
b) devise a way to rig up the stabilizers.

Any advise is appreciated

Wet in Havasu...

If you need stabilizers on a PA then just buy a Bayliner.

What were you drinking that made you need to pee and made you so unstable?

H bars? Scupper holes? Pee tubes? I DONT GET IT !!!!!!!!

Why didnt you guys just buy a Malibu Stealth like I did?

Mine came with a built in toilet. It even flushes at the flick of a switch.

Now if you see me sitting backwards on my kayak you will know what Im doing.

The Mirage Drive Rinse is the answer. Kneel and go.

The H-bar might be great for somebody who fly-fishes the flats, but it's definitely a tipover hazard anywhere there are waves and water you can't stand up in.

Hey Havabass,

The H-bar is great for various applications, but In certain winds and swell I find it helpful to use just the I-Bar when on the 12' as compared to the PA 14', and I skateboard.. Sure its no fly fishing solution or any stripping basket, but it serves several functions. Stability for only twenty bucks never felt so good..
Those voodoo boards might help your balance?..

mirage drive or dedicated wide mouth hiking water bottle down the waders and rinse it...easier than the tube approach...oh and if I have to take a crap I peddle over to cbad mike and use his public toilet....only $.25 charge...
