La Nina Fishing in La Jolla, what to expect?

Could be a La Nina by this fall.

https://weather.com/news/climate/new...ry-2016-update

El Nino was super awesome with all the exotics.

What kind of fishing can we expect with La Nina conditions?

Hopefully with the colder water, the squid could come back strong.

Your thoughts and or experiences ......

I think the more important question is....

How many more avocados can I get?

Weird ... I saw an article the other day that was talking about how we are more than likely to have another banner fishing year because the water is the same temperature throughout the thermocline right now. Basically the same thing that happened in 2015 and 2014.

Not sure what to believe but time will tell. La Nina would hopefully bring more squid and more of the white bass things.

Of course, what was I thinking, one qualifying fish does make you an official BWE guide.

Not only does it make you an official BWE guide...it makes you an "expert" speaker on how to rig your kayak and catch halibut !
