Are you sure they are set to the same hole setting? As in both on 4.
Unless you were replacing the chain not sure how this could happen. I use a little vice grip on the sleeve on the cable end, to keep it from slipping when loosening the nuts.

Got it. I wasn't sure if I had the correct nut. Put some small vice grips on it and it came loose.
Can't wait to test out the extra propulsion. It was off by quite a bit. Thanks |

Glad you got it worked out. I've had the chain loosen up over time, and had it skip a few teeth on the sprocket. Just keep that chain tight, and it shouldnt ever be a problem.
