Newbie Question - Oceanside Harbor

Hello, My name is Anthony and I am new to Kayaking in general and brand new to Kayak Fishing. I was fortunate to pick up a Ocean Kayak Scrambler for free and I am hooked "literallly". I have made 2 trips in the O'Side Harbor with minimal success. I was looking to see if anyone had any advice for fishing the harbor "secret spots" or "not so secret spots"?

Another question would be how far of a paddle is it to the Artificial Reef?

One last question would be is there any groups that fish out of O'side that would allow a rookie Kayaker to join them?

Thanks
