Check Facebook. There’s a 2018 papaya. It’s in Oceanside tho.

Thanks. I seen the fb ones. I made an offer and was ready to buy the 2018 but noticed it's a 2017. Not a big deal but priced just a bit high I think.

How do you know it’s a 2017? Any differences between 17 and 18?
It’s tough right now. Hobies backed up with orders. Most shops are empty. I’ve been waiting for 3 weeks. Still don’t know when it’ll be in. Hopefully next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I had a 2017 that I bought new. It's exactly the same.
The 2018 has the silver Hobie logo and arc drive. Once the price starts getting over 3k it kinda easier to just cave in and get new. I may do that if I cant find a package deal but trying to save money this time around. What did you order?

Ahh I see. Well the Livewell is 400$+, fish finder ehh. Not for me but something ready to use. Could buy it and sell the accessories. Get the price down and build out from there.

new vs used
It seems like a new one is just a few hundred bucks short of a brand new one. Why not just buy a new one and finance it?
Southwind kayaks in irvine does 0% financing for 18 months on Hobie kayaks. I'm looking to pick one up at then end of the year and was going to buy mine there b/c of the financing. If it wasn't for the 0% financing I'd just buy one at dana point jetski & kayak like my last one. Sold my outback a while back and I miss my hobie. |
