Lost Marage Drive

I was out late fishing in La Jolla on the 26 and had a little spill in the evening while landing. Unfortunately my drive unit on my revolution was disengaged and may still be in the surf. If anyone happens to find a drive unit durring low tiide I'd appreciate a P.M. Other than that incident though the day was good . Plenty of action on the water just not on my kayak.

I do the same and it saved my drive during my last entry spill.

Same boat

Lost mine a couple months back $550.00 lesson. Now I got a huge dog leash clipped to it. Not gonna do that again. Hope someone finds it and sells it back cheap. Lol

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the tips from someone who's had a bit more mileage on the water than me. As for the lost drive, working for a hobie dealer will make the loss a little easier.

I would have gone up the street and bought a cheap scuba mask and not left till I found it. That's an expensive ass trip!!

I would have done the same. Sucks you lost it. Its hard to swallow how much Hobie charges for stuff. They make good products, but 500 for Mirage drive should be illegal. I also secured mine with a piece of 550 Paracord. Hope it turns up for you.
