New Yak-er

Hey all...
Just thought I'd stop by and say hey!
I've fished from shore all my life, well, since I was 6 (I think ). Fished from boats...
And just got my first kayak.
The one I got is a bit old... but she's not slow in a straight line, I can stand up without too much difficulty... and here's the kicker, will carry 800lbs

yea, I'm learning that quickly...
Already designed 2 motor mounts for the trolling motor I just bought.
just got 4 bug hoops, rod holders, & a storage cover...

need...
build motor mount, 12V deep cycle, install rod holders, spray skirt, half skirt, buoyancy bags, deck rigging, & anchor.
I'm sure there's more... lots more.

Any reason you bought a sit inside kayak?

I chose a sit in kayak for the gear storage. I can hide bodies in the bow & stern there's that much space

The blue jars aren't mine.
