FISHING THE SECRET SPOT
This is my favorite place to fish. I always come out of here loaded with fish. The kayaking is usually off the hook up here. |

I caught that same fish in the last photo at Harbor Island in SD. Someone told me it was a Midshipment fish. I googled it and it looked like my fish, that fish looks just like it too, so I'm not sure now. That's only the 2nd time I've ever seen that fish.

Great job on the lings with the family! Your pics and brought back some great memories. Never kayaked there, but a buddy and I used to launch his zodiac there for fishing and surfing many years ago. You ever have any issues with surf outside the jetty during big swells? There were a few times I was glad we had the speed of the zodiac to get us out and back in one piece.

Yes I can answer that now T rex cause I did have some problems with the swell a month ago when I got toppled by 15ft over head and lost a couple of full shimano set ups.
Great place to kill some fish |
