Tidelands is in San Diego bay. Heroes on the Water will be hosting a day on the Bay for Disabled Veterans and their families this Saturday.

It will be a drive, but well worth it. Lots of great people to meet and get ideas from. The best part will be meeting some amazing veterans and getting to share with them. I'm a changed person because of these events. I realize now, just how far simple gestures of friendship and encouragement can go to improving someone else's day or even their life. I'm proud of our vets and I am proud to serve them.

I'll probably fish local out of Cabrillo on Saturday if anyone's interested; I usually head north out of Angels gate and fish the kelp but may explore inside and along the wall outside just to change it up. Could use some pointers about the harbor side!
