no more skunk

Launched today at Mission from the ski beach about 08:30. Overcast skies and water 62 degrees. Fished a white fluke for awhile with no takers then put on a robo minnow on a 3/8 bullet head jig and the bite started. Lots of shorts but that was okay because the new boat now has the skunk off of it. I took one really nice spot on a chunk of squid that was maybe three pounds. We fished completely around the island and ended up back at the beach about 11:30. I had to get home because we had a hay delivery coming but it was a great day. Now to start hunting some butt.
