Universal 'kayak' racks for use on multiple vehicles?
Is their such a thing?
I have a honda element that I'd like to use them on now but I'm thinking about a new ride soon. |

There are foam pads that you place on the roof and Pretty much strap it to the roof of any car. Search sherpak on amazon.

Yeah, I've seen those. I'd like to find more of an actual rack system if possible.

Buy a roof rack off Craigslist and then if you sell the. At sell the rack for near what you bought it for. They don't rapidly depreciate in value.
