Protecting electronics in the Surf?
Been watching the LJ Webcam a bit much. |

I keep my electronics stowed away during launch and landing. As soon as i pass the break or yellow markers i get all my electronics geared up.

I keep my electronics and (exposed Hooks) stowed on landing; even on a calm day

i have had Lowrance and Humminbirds, neither like to be dunked in salt.
smart thing do to is to pack it until you clear the surf and pack it going in.

Almost always launch and land with hds mounted and connected. Taken a couple spills no problems yet.
