Hooked up with first kayak thresher. Slow trolling around with mac on sinker and one flylined just looking for yellows. Finally saw some surface action but it was not yellows. What ever it was I was going to catch it! Stopped to change out bait on the bottom rig when I felt the bait getting wacked around, kept in free spool and waited for fish to eat. I'm on, three arials later the fish heads down and the pull begins. I wanted so much to release this thing, I brought up to leader to cut line but the challenge was to great from a kayak. Over an hour later he's boated and fresh fish for all. 83" long 62#

Nice catch! Those things have some beautiful color, I've never seen one up close.
