Kayak the Deep week 10/13

I fished Tuesday and Thursday last week on the Adventure, about a 20-
minute pedal from the beach.

Glassy Thursday.... this pic was sometime after Noon!! Bonito were on
the surface iron, I caught a few. Kept one for sushi. Bled and dropped on
ice. Yum.

I was having fun with the bottom dwellers from the kayak on the bass
tackle - using spectra and 2 oz leadheads on the bottom around 130'.
Lost a legal ling at "boga grip".

Standard issue "red".

Healthy dining this week.

Here are some shots from the Tuesday trip with my buddy Dylan. Slow
on the surface but we managed to scratch a bunch of stuff on the bottom.
As usual out there, we managed to lose as many fish as we caught ...

Looks like a great day on the water! Great pics! Whats the best way to cook up the reds?

Take it easy!
