Need advice is this rod worth $35.00?

I am looking to get another rod. I am new to kayaking and dont want to spend too much cash some guy is selling this rod for $35.00. Is it worth it?

Sabre CS 270s rated 12-30lbs

Probably worth $35 if it's in real good shape.

Not an original Sabre. This a Sabre from after the name was bought by Penn. Not sure of the value, personally I wouldn't spend 35 but that is mostly cause I like to wrap my own. I wold look around for an Original Sabre and re-wrap it.

Thanks for the advice! The gear I have not "should" be alright for now. I am still new to the whole kayaking thing. I have way too many hobbies right now ... wife would freak out if I purchased anything expensive. Thanks again!!!

Cant go wrong with ugly sticks and theyre like $40 and damn near indestructible.
