killer group shots memorabilia
Bring up some old ones if you got them. I think I have a fresh contender! Any shot with 2 or more people on it with fish qualifies. No animals other than the fish may be on the picture. We can make it the post of the month. If it wins the Post Of The Month, BWE gives $50 to Moyer's fund. How's that? May we open with the legendary: Dec 05 from what I recall? Or is it 06?? Doesn't matter, a killa day |

Very cool!
I remember reading about that tourney back in the day... Jasmin and I have just bought our skiff, and I remember telling him how we should have gotten kayaks, how local plastic army was just KILLING BIGGUNS while we were getting all excited loading up on rock fish and calicos... Lamb crew looking for lamb... I went back to try to find the posts from that tourney, but it looks like Allen didn't bother bring the old content when the board was upgraded... I ran into this post from a friendly kayaker with obvious trouble inserting pics... http://www.yakfishing.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=10 It is sad that a lot of content on our local kayak forums have been lost over time. BWE is missing a couple of years due to upgrades, being hacked into, and what not...

A couple shots the first is at an unknown location with Matty Kim landing his first big fish from a kayak, a toad to say the least around 52ish if I remember and Corey with 2 nice yellers. When Matt Kim hooked that M.O.L(Mother of Lamb, hope you don't mind me borrowing your phrase Adi) he was getting pulled so damn fast Steamroll was having a hard time keeping up! Steamy and I both totally blew it that day and lost fish to the kelp, but it was an awesome trip and great smiles on both Matt and Corey.
The second pic is of a great day with Wavster an Moyer and I all getting doubles, the last pic is of a gigantic tangle that I am still fairly uncertain as to how Moyer and I pulled that one off, all the fish were over 25lbs in the pic with Moyer getting his personal best of 32!

That would be my opening day fish of the WCW tournament on the ground...tossed on the grass when I saw the rest of the school. Usually when you catch a White Seabass this size in a tournament start celebrating, but I had to wait 364 more days to do that. Here's the Bill Dance pose with the same fish behind my house, since she looks so lonely on the ground I would like to give her some respect.

There can be only one MOL. What did Matt's fish weigh? Josh... I remember people looking for you, waiting to join the group shot. Where the hack did you vanish? I don't think you're taking this not winning the ournament business well. I know from the experience. Smores... TRES AMIGOS, GRANDE CORVINA, BAJA!
