If you do it at the border please REMEMBER your glasses, the printing is SMALL and hard to read. Only takes a minute to fill out IF you can read it. Been there, done that. Tight lines.

If you join discover baja they will sell you a prepaid FMM and then you will only have to get it stamped at the border.

Thanks for the tip; but I don't feel comfortable putting my passport and CC information on line via a scan and Email.

Lol. The border official had to read mine to me and tell me what to fill out because the print was so small. Bob's not joking about the tiny print.

The last two times I got my FMM (Two months ago in TJ and last week in Mexicali) the border official filled the form out for me. They just take your passport and fill it out without being asked to do so. Not sure if this is something new. Maybe they have too many blind tourist crossing the border.

While many people and boaters do not follow, the letter of the law states thar the FMM is good d for r 180 days but only a single entry. The previous rule to turn in or mail in the FMM after use is no longer in affect.

Why did you get your FMM two months ago and then last week?

I thought you would just get one FMM for 6 months?

I think the 180 days or 6 months is how long you can stay.

The entry is still single time.

The first time I went to Asunscion for 7 days so I didn't need to pay. Last week I went to Gonzaga and got the FMM because I plan on going down there several times in the next few months.

Me too. That is why I am trying to work on it now.
I do have name tag holders that I can bring, but I doubt anybody would wear one.

Dam, your way to prepared for a vacation Hashem...

I just pack my gear and some cloths and will figure the rest out on the drive down.. Trust me you have plenty of time on the long drive to get to know everyone and talk about what to fish for.. Good luck and have fun..

Thanks Momo,

Wish you could join us.

Fishing trip of a lifetime deserves attention. Particularly since I have not been there before.

Goes back to my training as a Boy Scout.

You have seen my gear when I go to the Catalina Mole, Haven't you??

The cookie monster will not be making this trip, so your cookies are safe.
I will already be down in Gonzaga with EOD (Steve -- Idaho) We'll be heading down on October 8th. See you guy down there.
