1st through 5th place will all get beer mugs filled with their cash. Conway Bowman donated a Mako Fly Fishing Trip Worth $700. Ali and the Boys at Bloodydecks donated 2 subscriptions to Fish Dope which is $160 value. Daily Fish Reports. You have until the end of this month to sign up so you're eligible for the on the water raffle sponsored by OEX. Please don't wait until the last minute. It makes it very hard to plan. Tight Lines! hahaha....just read the rules...."no guides" ??
Is that a new one? does that mean we won't get to compete against Jim, Matt, Josh and any of the other LJ guides or we just can't follow them around all day? |

I am pretty sure that I don't have an "A Game" when it comes to fishing in tournaments. C+ will have to do.
You never know. Some of us longshots just might get lucky and drop a line in the right place at the right time. It could happen. Bob |

LMAO, some dudes were bragging that they hired Josh for the tourney day. Loose lips sink ships. That rule is about as fuzzy as it gets. So, if I happen to see Josh on the water that day and he heads over to say hi, I run the risk of being disqualified? It also implies that anyone who is a guide is automatically ineligible and shouldn't even be fishing that day. |

No Guides
So you mean I didn't have to strip all the guides off my rods after all?

28. Professional Guides may not be employed, in any manner, during the tournament to assist angler participants. Fishing with a guide will be cause for disqualification! Here is the rule. I don't want this thread to get out of hand. Professional Guides cannot be employed by another angler on the day of the tournament. Guides may fish in this tournament just like everyone else who pays. We at LJKF find that it would not be fair if some angler's hired guides when other don't. I hope this helps with any clarification. Tight Lines! Matt |
