Are we going to plan a caravan down on Friday? Or are we going to just show up at the designated time on Saturday morning...
Kai, I am planning on leaving early Friday morning, staying at Don Eddies, let me know if you want to share a room or caravan....,.. Then fish Saturday and come home sometime Sunday. Thanks Zed, like your dad. LIFE IS GRAND, and the fish are about to DIE.

Are there any kayaks available for rental in San Quintin? I have another buddy who is interested in fishing the tourney, but he hasn't pulled the trigger on his new kayak yet. If so, are they rigged with rod holders, etc? If not, he'll have to rent one from OEX. Thanks

FYI........I will be leaving for Gonzaga early tomorrow morning for 3 days, will return on Wednesday evening.

So I will be OUT of TOUCH until then. When I return I will post total people attending and any NEW information. I will be heading down on Friday morning to check out the launch, landing area, and to get other things ready. You can reach me at Don Eddies on Friday 5 June in the evening, or meet us Saturday morning. PM any questions, thanks. Tight lines.

So it does look like I will be making it. Got my hands on a truck.

I was seeing 15 mph forecast from the weekend. Now the question is, has anyone looked into the wind conditions?

Other reports show 80% chance of thunder showers but 5 mph winds, I am fishing, hope to see you there. If we do get rained out we will just figure it out but I think it should be fishable. The Butt in the post above was huge and had to be a big female, it is that time of the year for them.

I don't care how hard it rains - so long as we don't get blown off the water I'm good to go!
