Wow!! Almost half the cost of the 5 inch model and has chirp!! Now that's awesome.
Something seems odd that 4.3 inch compared to 5 inch is that big a price difference. Am I missing something? Quote:

I would go with the new DragonFly 5 it looks like they kept the knob on thew new 7. The knob does get annoying at times.

I've used both the RayViewer and RayRemote apps for my A98 and it works great. Pretty much instantaneous feed to phone. Its awesome.

I figure I could sell mine for around 1100-1300 and pick one up a few hundred more? I really don't wanna hang a pvc over the side for transducer. Any ideas how to stick it in the water any other way?

I got tired of Mickey mouse installs
So I grabbed a 2014 model early in year . There is one other method that works well. Lowrance sells mount that slides through scupper hole in back of yak . Transducer will be in water exposed slightly under yak . Of course you will negate one of the best features of the hobies , which is the add on bait tank with rod holders .

I found this one. Would it work? Lowrance 000-10606-001 Kayak Scupper Mount for "Skimmer" Type Transducers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0067MUZQY..._lCoNub0SSXGRD
