than La Jolla. While it may seem that LJ is easy and fish gravitate towards it, there are lots of things about it that really make it difficult sometimes. I appreciate the vote of confidence, but 1 Mex trip doesn't change things... ...I've got a long way to go. |

After a trip like that I might have taken some off fishing. Not Dave, after me not fishing most of the month, I see you out there morning and night. Hard core Right before we came in I get hit by something large. Got it close to the yak then it pulls the hook. Strange thing was when I reeled in, the tail of the mack was still on my trap hook. Never seen that before, its always the head that comes back. Big squid I think. |
