These boats must be filling up, because I heard three phone calls when I was at the store today. That was around 1:00PM. Looks like I won't be going this year. Blew the wad of cash on my Yak and gear.

It's not the $50 bucks that I am worried about, it's the other few hundred and the three missed days. The woman does not like it too much if I am gone overnight. It is nice to be loved though. She doesn't mind a couple trips a year, so I guess I need to think it over. This place is a bad influence....

I had this rash.....I thought it was gone......it really was gone for a while.........shoot, the annoying rash came back.

Just curious, why won't they take PA's, I have a larger Hobie and a Ocean Prowler, again, just curious.

I read somewhere it was because of the weight. Captain doesn't want to over-work the crew. Something along those lines.

Islander guys told us it creates a safety issue for the crew- Too heavy to get on board and off, especially in an emergency. Also their racks were made to accommodate the correct amount of kayaks for kayak trips and PA's take up more room then traditional kayaks.
