NOTHING THERE BUT SAND and some items that tony lost
I'll second that but add that there's a ton of pesky sand dabs and lizard fish that will consistently steal your bait while your fishing for the non existent fish.

Is it usually better to fish a couple of days before or after the end of the world?

The gravitational pull from the planets aligning brings all the fish to the surface so bring out the surface iron cause the yellows are gonna be boiling.

Yes, we're still on. There are some reports that there are supposed to be some larger sized swells coming through, we'll have to decide if we fish outside or inside for hali's when we get there. Bring some squid just in case we end up fishing outside.

Need Squid and/or Sabikis for the inside too unless you want to fish with Anchovies.

Plan A Rockfish outside on a reef. Bring squid. You can also fish Hali's on the edges of the reef.

Plan B. ( if the swell or wind is too big outside, unlikely). Fish inside for Hali's. There are no sardines at the bait barge. Bring squid and artificials.

See you guys there around 5:30

Nice tide timing for us.

Did a solo trip out there today, surf was 1-3 ft, mostly 1-2 but a 3ft sneaker every once and a while. Weather was overall good today, sunny cold in the morning, warm in the afternoon, winds 5-10kts, 2-5 foot swell but widely spaced. Had the current running against the wind today which made it really hard to stay on the spot. You pretty much had 1 drop per drift, difficult conditions. Still managed to get a limit of cod, mix of reds, browns, and johnny bass. Nothing to write home about but fun. At least its not trout!

Confrimed, cabrillo bait barge did not have any sardines today just medium size anchovies. If you want to catch lizzards...anchovy on the bottom.

Fishing tomorrow...I may fish the inside, depending on how big the surf is...before with my stealth 3'-5ft waves were doable...with the pa...not so much...The surf may be building for tomorrow, i guess we'll have to see.

To the guys that havent fished out here make sure jorge takes you to his guaranteed giant lingcod hole....
