I too recently got my self a 15 footer to try out in the ocean. Anyone plan to go out from new port next weekend? Oct 29 or 30? |

I'm down to go out most any days for a few hours. Monday and Friday are my regular days that I'm not pressed for time, I like to target thresher on those days cause I can troll longer distances and not worrie about the clock. Any other day I usually get out about 5:30 and need to be off the water by 9:00 or 9:30 so I stay pretty close to the harbor or inside for bass or hali.

Look like I may not able to make it this weekend.
I'm in the market for a Kayak specific PFD. Who would have though as soon as the weather gets cold, my local sporting good store packed up all the kayak stuff and replace it with all the ski/snowboard items... I'll probably spend my weekend visiting some of more Kayak friendly sporting good store in OC to look for a new PFD. Got any suggestion? |

Flying Bait- Go see Andy at OEX sunset beach. Also check out the online store link above. i think they have a larger selection of PFD and you may be able to order from there and just pick up at OEX |
