Which website do you use for the tides in or around Bufeo. I can't not find two that show the same data. They are all different and I would like to schedule my arrival a couple hours before high tide.

Gracias

Looks like the way work is going, I'll be there the afternoon of the 6th because I have to cover for the boss.

Bob - is the smoker down there or should I bring mine? I think pulled pork sandwiches smoked 12 hours in mesquite are in order. Because of arrival and cook time I can cover dinner Friday night or Saturday...

Yes my GMG is down there. Been hearing about that Pulled Pork for over a year now, will be great to finally taste it. I even have a set of claws to make the pulling easier. I HOPE someone is planning fish, pulpo, almejas or other seafood.

Would you rather I bring Cioppino from Trader Joe’s, instead of Persian food?

Item one
I need a final count of the attendees on Thursday, March 30th, so I know how much food to pick up.

Please list here who is coming in addition to the following list;
MrPukaShell—Meat at restaurant
Makobob-----Seafood Delight
Mahigeer----Persian dinner
Baja_Traveler---Pulled pork sandwiches
Defjack-----Meat at restaurant
Sivak-----Meat at restaurant
Brian Jackson

Item two for those who have not been there before.

Travel schedual:
We meet at 5:00 AM at Johnny's Shell station in located at 515 N. Magnolia Ave. Just off of the freeway (8) at the exit #67, N. Magnolia Ave, El Cajon.

From there we stay on the freeway (8) to the exit #98, follow about 30 miles to the highway (111) and take right to border crossing at Calexico.
Shell Station to border is about 125 miles.

From there we follow the highway Mex (5) thru Mexicali, follow signs to San Filipe, Puertocitos, Rio Hardy staying on the highway Mex (5) all the way to San Filipe. Another 125 miles.

Going through San Filipe take right at sign to Puertocitos/airport, go about 9 km to sign saying Puertocitos and take a left, DO NOT go to the airport.

From here is another 95 miles to camp.

VADO means dip in road and years ago they could and would take your rear axle out, SLOW DOWN for them. At km 60-65 be very careful. When you reach km 134 you went 100 yards too far. Sign to camp will say Campo Turistico and you take a left. Up until now (except leaving San Filipe) roads are all good at (60) mph unless posted lower and passable by any car. At turn off for camp it is unpaved dirt road, [15-25] mph but bumpy. Camp is about 1/2 mile from main road.

It is suggested lowering your air pressure at turnoff on your first trip, to about (20) psi. There are/is compressor in camp. Follow until you crest hill and go down to beach, restaurant is on your left, in front of restaurant take a left and follow until you have to take a right at trees, then go 100 feet and take a left, 100 feet and Makoland is on the left 50 yards of soft sand, stay on tire tracks at (20) mph to top, park left by garage.

The sand on the beach can be very soft at times.

Let the good time begin.

Please list here who is coming in addition to the following list;

Suggested rotation for dinner preparation;

Sunday ----------MrPukaShell—------Meat at restaurant
Monday-----------Mahigeer-----------Persian dinner
Tuesday----------Sivak---------------Meat at restaurant
Wednesday-------Makobob-----------Seafood Delight

I guess since we are crossing the border on Sunday, it will be a good testament to the benefit of having a Sentri Pass.

Question for Bob and Robert:

Are there enough stoves to heat up four pots at the same time at the camp?

I have two small stoves, and they may not accommodate large pots.

ONE, what we can't heat up in camp can be heated at restaurant but we have a big three burner stove and a coleman too. That should not be a problem. However as to the Sentri, I did my first this morning. In line at 10:22 CROSSED at 10:25.5 YES 3 and 1/2 minutes on a SUNDAY. WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will arrive at Johnny's Shell Station around 4 am, WE need to leave at 5am to reach camp around noon, which allows set up and FISHING that afternoon for those who camp lite. So I need to know WHO will be meeting us in El Cajon and who will just meet us in camp. Please let me know here if you are going to caravan down with us. Thanks and tight lines.
Just returned, bass, triggers, GOLDEN SPOTTED BASS, Yellow tail were caught, corvina, snapper and cabrilla were round too. Lot's of turtles and jellyfish. Time to cross back with SENTRI PASS was 3.5 MINUTES.

I would like to keep it all Persian, so dinner is in camp.

I will have a small BBQ unit too.

I think Robert brings a unit too.

Great news about Sentri pass.

I will meet you at the Shell as usual.

Started to pack fishing gear already.
