It was Rick's Fish, so it should be Rick's choice to make the Post and tell the story if He chooses.
Its His Thunder man. I don't post pictures of other peoples fish, because its their story, and their moment. |

Great pic of the squib boats and yakkers w high five.
Great pics of Rick and his fish too - I am very sad that I can't look at that thing again. But very true - Rick's story. I don't know him, but big time congrats on that beaut of a tail! You'd have to tie me to prevent me from bragging with that sort of catch. Rick, if you are there- throw us a pic of two, we'd love to drool on that thing... I'm "paying" you back with a short but sweet 10 secs video of you being towed by that monster right by my boat... at pretty funny speed. Congrats again!

Just to clarify things, Yes that is me high fiven rick. I dint even know someone took a picture of us.(what a great shot!!!) He man handled that beast on 25 pound line. Rick and i landed back at the same time and later i was told it weighted 52 pounds. I segested to rick to drive to OEX and have it officially weighted because that may be the biggest Y.t. ever caught in a kayak. Can anyone confirm if rick ever did show up at OEX yesterday?

I hope that fish has a brother.
What a spectacular fish, and on #25 lb test. Certainly a testament to your patience, and fishing ability. I can't think of a more rewarding experience that to catch a World Class Fish while surrounded by your kayak fishing buddies as witnesses. |

Whoever took that beach shot is hired, dang good photo. Funny watching him lift it over and over again, seemed like everybody wanted him to hoist up for a photo op...
And Bajaboy, great pic indeed...who knew that pic you took would turn into that beach shot. Thank you, me likes... Sorry Driftwood, don't save as a screensaver just yet..enlarge that photo, it's when he was handing me his bait scoop for some esqueeeed while he was still fightin' it...no high fivin' going on then.
