For you maybe - I have to work tomorrow, then have my long range black powder match on Saturday.

I'm just thankful that the superbowl starts late on Sunday, cause I'll be on the water before sun up.

Then the weekend of the 9th and 10th I'll be skiing with the Mormons - the snow better be good, because you know I'll be thinking about you guys pulling on big halibut while I'm there!

I wish...no, I just saw the final jackpot amount.

BTW, went to lake Skinner today w/ my 2 year old and didn't have any butts there, in case anyone was wondering. Or any other fish for that matter

Just for the record, I was actually in the lead with my fish (12lbs, 31in.) ........

until I called Tony to my spot right after I landed mine.....he comes over and ...

POACHES

my flippin spot :t he_finger::the _finger:

We know these won't last but wanted to get the action started.

By the way, when Tony does his "supermodel" pose and stands sideways he looks pretty sexy! (Roby told me)

I put in 12 miles out to zuniga jetty, then south to Hotel Del and back today for nothing. Made perfect sardine sized mac's and had high hopes for the day, but I was competing with tons of bait everywhere I went - then a ripping 20-25 mph north wind picked up around noon making the peddle back a mother. I could barely walk when I hit the beach at Shelter Island.

Well, at least I got good exercise...

Too bad there's not a record for the smallest, I got an 11 incher, the eyes weren't even completey moved. Also took out the mutts to see if they could help out, unfortunately they are not sea dogs.

Mine ended up just shy of 30".

I realized that I forgot to measure it after I was done with the fillets, no big deal.
