web-cam videos
I put up a few time lapse videos of when it rained, which were cool, but I got tired of doing this by hand looking for something interesting. So I decided to write another app to automatically create the timelapse videos from all the stills and upload to youtube. The whole process is automatic. In a few days it will catch up to the current days timelapse. You can see them all here- http://www.youtube.com/user/MichelPWeber?feature=mhsn. So far there are only 6 videos up. There will be a lot of them. The app also automatically puts the timelapse based on how much light there is in the images. So if you launch or land in the dark, you won't see it. The videos got to be too big for youtube, so I had to shorten them by eliminating the night time images. I'm not much of a fisherman, so here is my contribution to the site (versus suggesting how to gaff a WSB, HB or YT). |

Not sure how useful they are other than looking back at yourself setting up and tearing down, but I'm glad there is some interest.
Maybe historical tide movement? |

They are all up to date now - well, until the following day. So each day a new video is up from the previous day. These high surf days might be interesting.
