Kayaker Next To 20ft Shark
Captain Linda Cavitt caught some footage of a 20-foot basking shark from the safety of the pier in Panama City Beach, Florida. Josh, the kayaker, was a bit closer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6POpa...ature=youtu.be |

Lol... I wouldn't even kow what the shark likes to eat. I consider myself good eating. I filled with all sorts of meat and spices.
I would of taken out my knife and prepared for the worst case scenario. Last edited by wiredantz; 03-24-2011 at 02:19 PM. |

Basking sharks have a huge mouth and allow massive amounts of water pass through - they probably filter out krill and other small food.

From the kayaker's perpective I probably would have filled my undies, cause a sight like that, I wouldn't have thought to myself ... "huh, look at that perfect specimen of a Basking shark" rather..."holy $#!t, I am in deep doo doo"... Thanks for the video... "I think you need a bigger boat" |
