We require catch and release of calico and sand bass and will be offering one swimbait per bass weighed and released alive. In order to attract the weigh kayak or weigh boat a red flag must be attached to a rod tip or pole extending at least 5ft from the water. A limited amount of flags will be available at the launch and they can be purchased for 1 dollar, but if you can, please bring your own. The weigh Kayak will also have a cell phone so they can be contacted. The weigh boat will also have a VHF and a hand held Motorola and they can be contacted with those. It is the responsibility of the angler to ensure the health of their bass until the weigh kayak arrives. We recommend livewells or large fish baskets. Big Hammer Pro Staffer Larry Heron will be manning the weigh boat so feel free to ask him for any tips and tricks while you are on the water! Hope to see you all there This event is sponsored by Tackle Warehouse http://www.tacklewarehouse.com Pro-cure Bait Scents http://www.pro-cure.com Big Hammer Premium Lures http://www.swimbait.com |
