A Day that almost Didn't Happen w/pics 11/1/09
I paddled out to a spot that i always fish and usually have good luck. After a few casts got this little sandy on the swim bait!! Fished there for about 40 minutes and farmed a couple. Right before i was going to head out the rig i had a TJW deadsticked and it went bendo. This Sculpin hit the deck!! Did i mention how nice of a day it was!!!!! I was sweating with my pfd on!!!!! Water was ranging from 61' to 64 degrees with some small spots of what looks to be a red tide. Got this Sandy next out at the rig working between lobster traps. Once again i get hit hard on the Deadsticked TJW and this one is taking some drag. Fought for a couple minutes and brought this on the deck. Went just over 19 1/2 but had some gerth. The 2 weapons for the day Hopefully i wii be getting out some more to add to the reports!! JP |

Where did you launch from in seal beach? I am not very familiar with that beach.

Very nice report! Thanks for sharing. I second that question, where did you launch? I live nearby and have never fished seal beach before.
