FISH PORN

It's been so slow for some time and I'm off the water for a while, rehabbing from having my hip replaced. So I thought it would be fun to put together a video of some Fish Porn from La Jolla and the Bays, on Kayaks and the Solo Skiff. Hope it inspires some to head on out and give it another try. Thanks for watching. Tight Lines! ................................. ......

It allows me to cover much more water. The fishing, has had no change from Kayak to Solo Skiff because the fish (Yellowtail) that I target are just almost nowhere to be found, even 10 or more miles from shore. All the spots around, especially La Jolla that for over 10 years where good, now have nothing.. I don't target Calicos or other Bass or Rock fish. When I have, they also are not around in the numbers they where. I don't fish further north (Redondo, Newport) so I don't know, but Guys I know that do, tell me they also have seen a big decline. How about you, Papa Dave?

Same goes for Florida, off Fort Lauderdale, I can now fish from Dania up to Boca in one day, covering more distance with the gas outboard alma PA14 than I could ever get on the mirage unit, but slightly fewer fish than earlier years when human power limited range.
